Refund & Cancellation Policy
Techify Seattle provides onsite, remote, and managed technology support for homes and small businesses. This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, deposits, recurring services, and service disputes are handled.
By booking service, approving an estimate, paying an invoice, or subscribing to a monthly service plan, you agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Refunds and billing adjustments must be requested in writing by email, text, invoice reply, or through another written method approved by Techify Seattle.
One-Time Services and Break-Fix Work
One-time services may include troubleshooting, diagnostics, computer repair, network support, account setup, software help, cleanup, device setup, data transfer, malware cleanup, printer support, Wi-Fi support, onsite visits, remote support, and other technology services.
Labor, diagnostic time, remote support time, onsite service time, and completed work are generally non-refundable once performed.
If a service cannot be completed, Techify Seattle may, at its discretion, offer one or more of the following:
Partial refund
Service credit
Adjusted invoice
Additional troubleshooting
Referral to another provider
No refund if meaningful labor, diagnostics, travel, research, setup, or troubleshooting were already performed
Payment is for time, labor, expertise, troubleshooting, setup, configuration, consulting, and service effort. Payment is not a guarantee that every issue can be fixed, recovered, prevented, or resolved.
Diagnostic Fees
Diagnostic fees are non-refundable unless Techify Seattle states otherwise in writing.
A diagnostic fee covers time spent identifying the issue, testing, inspecting, researching, communicating findings, and recommending next steps. The diagnostic fee may or may not be credited toward further work, depending on the specific estimate or agreement.
Onsite Visits, Travel, and Minimum Charges
Onsite work may be subject to a minimum service charge, travel charge, emergency charge, or after-hours charge.
Once Techify Seattle has traveled to a customer location, arrived onsite, started remote work, or reserved a same-day/emergency appointment, related charges may be non-refundable.
Appointment Cancellations
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling a standard appointment.
Techify Seattle may charge a cancellation fee, travel fee, or minimum service charge if:
The customer cancels with short notice
The customer is unavailable at the scheduled time
Access to the device, location, network, account, or system is not available
The appointment cannot proceed due to missing passwords, permissions, approvals, keys, equipment, or required information
The appointment was booked as same-day, emergency, after-hours, or priority service
Techify Seattle may waive these charges at its discretion.
Hardware, Parts, Software, Licenses, Domains, and Third-Party Services
Hardware, replacement parts, cables, accessories, software, licenses, subscriptions, domains, hosting, cloud services, security tools, backup services, email services, and third-party services may be non-refundable once ordered, purchased, activated, installed, transferred, registered, opened, or assigned to the customer.
If Techify Seattle purchases hardware, software, or third-party services on behalf of a customer, the customer is responsible for those costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Manufacturer, distributor, vendor, and third-party refund policies may apply.
Deposits and Prepayments
Techify Seattle may require deposits, retainers, prepayments, or partial payment before starting work, ordering equipment, reserving time, or beginning a project.
Deposits and prepayments may be applied toward labor, diagnostics, travel, hardware, software, third-party costs, or project work.
Deposits may be non-refundable if work has started, time has been reserved, equipment/software has been purchased, or Techify Seattle has incurred costs related to the customer’s request.
Monthly Managed IT Services and Subscriptions
Monthly managed IT services are billed in advance unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.
Monthly services may include monitoring, support access, account management, maintenance, security tools, backup tools, documentation, device support, remote support, vendor coordination, or other services listed in the customer’s plan.
Monthly subscriptions continue until canceled according to the applicable agreement or this policy.
To cancel a monthly plan, the customer must provide written notice by email, text, support request, or customer portal when available.
Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
Monthly charges already paid are generally non-refundable
Partial-month refunds are not provided unless required by law or approved by Techify Seattle
Past-due invoices remain due after cancellation
Any unpaid hardware, software, licensing, subscription, or third-party costs remain due after cancellation
Techify Seattle may cancel, suspend, or decline to renew service if invoices are unpaid, required access is removed, customer systems are unsafe or unsupported, the customer violates these policies, or the service relationship is no longer practical.
Automatic Payments
If a customer authorizes recurring or automatic payments, Techify Seattle may charge the saved payment method for approved recurring services, subscriptions, invoices, balances, taxes, and applicable fees.
Customers are responsible for keeping payment information current.
Failed, declined, reversed, or disputed payments may result in suspended service, late fees, collections, or termination of services.
Disputes and Chargebacks
Customers agree to contact Techify Seattle first before filing a payment dispute or chargeback.
Most billing issues can be resolved faster by contacting Techify Seattle directly.
Filing a chargeback for valid work, completed labor, approved services, or delivered products may result in suspension of services, cancellation of recurring plans, collection activity, and refusal of future service.
No Guarantee of Outcome
Technology work can involve unknown issues, failing hardware, corrupted software, bad updates, malware, unsupported devices, third-party outages, account restrictions, licensing issues, security incidents, or data loss.
Techify Seattle will make reasonable efforts to help, but does not guarantee:
That every issue can be fixed
That data can always be recovered
That malware can always be fully removed
That a device, system, network, or account will never fail again
That third-party services will remain available
That all security risks can be prevented
Taxes and Processing
Sales tax, business taxes, payment processing issues, and third-party payment rules may affect final invoice totals.
Refunds may exclude non-refundable third-party fees, processing costs, completed labor, taxes already remitted, or costs already incurred, unless otherwise required by law.
Policy Updates
Techify Seattle may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. The version posted on this website applies to services booked, invoices paid, or subscriptions started after the effective date, June 13th 2026.
