Backups and Data Risk
Technology service can involve risk to data, software, settings, accounts, devices, and systems.
Before service begins, customers should back up important files, business records, photos, documents, passwords, recovery keys, emails, financial records, and other important data.
Techify Seattle will use reasonable care, but is not responsible for data loss, corrupted files, deleted files, failed drives, failed backups, ransomware, malware damage, software corruption, failed updates, account restrictions, or hardware failure unless caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

Estimates and Scope of Work
Estimates are based on the information available at the time they are provided.
Technology issues can change once work begins. Additional problems may be discovered after inspection, diagnostics, remote access, onsite work, or troubleshooting.
If additional work, hardware, software, licensing, travel, or third-party service is needed, Techify Seattle may provide an updated estimate or invoice.
Unless stated otherwise, estimates are not fixed-price guarantees.
Payment Terms
Payment terms may be listed on the invoice, estimate, service agreement, subscription plan, or written communication.
Unless otherwise stated, payment is due upon receipt of invoice or completion of service.
Techify Seattle may require payment before service, deposits before projects, or automatic payment for recurring plans.
Past-due invoices may result in suspended service, canceled appointments, paused projects, late fees, collection costs, or termination of service, to the extent permitted by law.

Monthly managed IT services are provided according to the customer’s selected plan, written agreement, or invoice description.
Monthly services may include recurring support, monitoring, maintenance, account management, security tools, backup tools, remote support, vendor coordination, or other services.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
Monthly fees already paid are generally non-refundable
Any unpaid invoices, hardware costs, software costs, licenses, subscriptions, or third-party costs remain due
Techify Seattle may modify, suspend, or cancel managed services if systems are unsupported, access is removed, invoices are unpaid, tools are disabled, required permissions are denied, or the service relationship becomes impractical.

Techify Seattle may recommend, configure, support, or resell third-party products or services, including hardware, software, cloud services, email platforms, domain providers, hosting providers, backup tools, security tools, payment processors, remote support tools, and managed service tools.
Third-party services are controlled by their own providers. Techify Seattle is not responsible for third-party outages, price changes, policy changes, data loss, account restrictions, service failures, discontinued products, licensing problems, security incidents, or vendor decisions.
Customers are responsible for reviewing and following third-party terms, privacy policies, billing terms, and acceptable use policies.

Manufacturer, vendor, distributor, and software publisher warranties may apply.
Security and Malware
Techify Seattle may provide security recommendations, malware cleanup, account hardening, backup recommendations, monitoring, or security tool setup.
No technology provider can guarantee complete security or prevent all malware, phishing, ransomware, account compromise, data breach, device failure, or unauthorized access.
Customers are responsible for following security recommendations, maintaining backups, using strong passwords, enabling multi-factor authentication where appropriate, and keeping software updated.
